PERMAFROST
A series of drawings and working models documenting the conception and design of a proposal for a large scale sculptural project and related smaller projects.
Permafrost: A large sample of arctic permafrost is preserved in perpetuity in a solar powered climate controlled vitrine.
Permafrost Turbo Version:A series of works for people on the go, based on the proposed large scale work Permafrost. Picnic coolers, car coolers, individual desktop beverage coolers and other recreational cooling devices are combined with small scale consumer quality solar cells and battery packs in order to save the arctic's permafrost—one small piece at a time.
